About Matthew

Hello, and a warm welcome to my 'About' page.
My name is Matthew Taylor and I am a Professional Skin Therapist working physically from my own private treatment room in the South Yorkshire area and 'virtually', around the world through: http://www.matthew-taylor.com

Having a passion for skin health from an early age, I always found this area fascinating training at Dearne Valley College in Wath-upon -Dearne, South Yorkshire to follow my ambition of becoming a professional in this ever growing field.
Within my first year at college I was awarded with the accolade of not one but two Student of the Year awards. This proved that I was serious about skin!

I take a pro-active approach to Continuous Professional Development and attend regular external training courses with The International Dermal Institute, and many other training organisations too numerous to mention.

A list of my accreditation's can be found here.

I have a comprehensive reading list of books and journals on Skin Health, Dermatology, Aromadermatology, Clinical Aromatherapy,  and in my favourite areas of Cosmetic Chemistry; Formulations and Cosmeceuticals.

I will only use Professional products that I scrutinise for having the purest ingredients, the best formulations, and absolutely no sensitising irritating fillers.

I believe in the products I use and my abilities as a therapist to rectify any skin condition; I use electro-therapy where possible to enhance the powerful products that I use, giving clients real results every time.
No matter how someones skin is behaving, there will be a way to nurture it back to its optimum skin health.

I am an education based therapist and strive to give consumers the very best information for their skin. I strongly believe that skin health is as important as general health and not just an un-necessary cosmetic issue.

I pride myself on providing professional results-driven skin treatments in a relaxed and un-stuffy atmosphere,  giving the client the very best advice and recommending only the most necessary home care products to maintain those optimum results!
